Happy Monday everybody! I hope you all had wonderful Thanksgiving, a safe Black Friday (if you braved the crowds), and a great weekend, no matter where in the world you live!
This was our first year to host Thanksgiving at our house, and my husband did an amazing job with the cooking! He popped the turkey breast in the oven after the Packer game on Thursday and everything was hot and ready to eat about 2 hours later. We’re so lucky he loves to cook!
We kept the table simple since we knew it would be filled with food, but I was happy to get to use our red cloth napkins.
This year, our party was small – just my mom, brother, Stephen and I – but we had fun and were happy to be together.
Did I mention how great the food was? 🙂 I’m already mourning the last of the leftovers…
To top it all off, after dinner, Stephen and my brother pulled down all our Christmas decorations from the attic. My mom and I got to work setting up the tree, with a little help from our kitty Tina.
The decorations are out and the lights are lit. It’s safe to say…
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at Heardmont. We’ll be sharing our Christmas decorations with you bit by bit this week, so come back soon!
