We don’t know what to believe, weather-wise, around here these days. One forecast I heard yesterday called for 3/4″-1″ of ice today with 8″-16″ of snow on top of that! SIXTEEN INCHES OF SNOW?!! Are you kidding me?
Of course Mr. Weatherman can’t make up his mind. More recent forecasts are saying ice and sleet today and light snow all day tomorrow. Regardless, all the bread and milk at Walmart is gone and everybody is getting ready to hunker down. Stephen picked up a half rick of wood on his way home yesterday and it’s stacked and tarped by our front door just in case the power goes out.
Makes me wish we had a fun place to stack all that wood inside. Something like this perhaps?
I don’t think anybody can forget last year’s ice storm. Trees fell all over the state, we were without power for about four days, some people had water pipes burst, and it took months to recover.
Let’s not have another one of these please, mmm’k?
(Don’t worry everybody, these pictures are from last year in case you didn’t catch that… so far no snow or ice today!)
