Last-Minute DIY Christmas Gifts

Ever the procrastinator, I saved one of the most time-intensive DIY gifts we’re giving this year for last night.  Of course, it would have to be the only project I’ve done all winter that was a 100% flop.  This morning I woke up in huge need of some quick DIY gift ideas and thought some of you might like these ideas, too!

Can you believe Christmas is only 5 days away?

Personalized Coffee Mugs: I love the look of ink on plain white mugs.  Here are some design ideas to get you started. These would make a great gift as a set of 2 or 4, accompanied by a box of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate.

DIY Jewelry: For that special lady, make a special necklace.  All you need for either design is a chain, some wire, and pretty beads.  How about incorporating family birthstones into the necklace for extra personality?

Unique Vases: If your giftee isn’t much of a jewelry wearer, would they like a vase made especially for them?  The faux-bois vases below are sure to be a hit, or break out the gold leaf and go crazy on a set of bud vases!

Fabric + Ink + Thread, Oh My: Last up, there’s no limit to what you can do with fabric and paint or a printer. From personalized totes and pillows to hand-stamped napkins, your giftee is sure to love something on this list.

My favorite part about this round up is that every project above can be completed in an evening with only a few supplies.  The gifts are cute and quirky and sure to bring a smile to your giftee’s face.   The tough part now is selecting which gift will be loved the most!

What do you think? Will one of these projects make your last-minute gifts list?
