Have you heard of the site Design Seeds? I seem to remember coming across it awhile ago, but it wasn’t until I ran across an image on Pinterest that I remembered how great a resource this blog could be.
If you’re unfamiliar with the site, it features gorgeous colorful photographs of everyday objects and pulls out blocks of color for design inspiration. Since we’ve been dreaming up color schemes for our guest bath recently, I thought it might be the perfect place to find a scheme that spoke to us.
Little did I know that we would have almost too many choices! Now the hard part begins… Narrowing down a palette and selecting the wall color and secondary hues.
Do you take color cues from everyday objects or do you prefer to pick up a paint chip and go? Where do you start with a color scheme when designing a room from scratch?
