The Friday Five is going to be a Monday Five this week, but better late than never! I just couldn’t miss an opportunity to share what caught my eye out there on the world-wide-web this past week.
If you’re like me, you’ve probably got a stack of “to do” projects just waiting for you to tackle. I seem to have an incurable habit of saving DIY projects on Pinterest and then checking them off my mental list as if once they’re Pinned, they’re done.
Instead of fooling myself into thinking I’ll actually try every single one of these projects, I’ve decided it’s time to celebrate and share my favorites from the week without guaranteeing that I’ll ever get around to trying them myself. Let’s give these ladies a virtual round of applause for their creativity and the awesome DIY successes they shared this week!
My blog buddy Cassie seems to have a never-ending supply of great furniture makeovers, and her end tables with “dipped” legs didn’t disappoint! Those little white legs and gold casters were just what this end table needed.
Mama blogger and business owner Shelley from House of Smiths showed how she made these rustic wooden crates from scratch. Don’t they look perfectly weathered and vintage?
Now here’s one project I might actually get around to trying. These monogrammed paint-dipped bottles Randi shared at The CSI Project look so easy to do! I love that she chose orange paint. I could totally imagine a set of these spelling out Halloween or Fall on our mantle in the next few weeks.
My friend Morgan shared a recipe for mozzarella sticks that she found on Pinterest and tweaked that looked delicious and incredibly simple. I don’t know about you guys, but I am such a cheese-lover that my mouth started watering as I was reading her post! Yummmm!
Last up, I just had to share the amazing gallery wall Jenn from A home in the making finished last week. She started with just a few frames and eventually turned this wall into an awesome focal point in her living room. There’s just something that feels right about his arrangement to me. Great job Jenn!
I hope you all take some inspiration from these great projects and let’s give these ladies another cheer for sharing their creativity with the rest of us! Hope you have a great Monday everybody!
