A Preview of Things to Come

We’ve been doing lots of math over the past few days, and I don’t mean this kind (although lots of that has been happening too).

Calculus Love

This is the type of math we’ve been doing!

As anybody who has installed trim before knows, the angles and measurements can get kind of complicated.  Try that on a piece of trim that doesn’t lay flat against the wall (like crown molding), and you’ll be glad your miter saw has presets to make the math easier!

We’re not installing crown molding in the typical fashion, but we should have some photos to share with you very soon!  Any guesses where it’s going?

P.S. Happy Valentines Day everybody! I hope you enjoy your day – and remember, nothing says love like a little home improvement project!

hmm maybe just below the ceiling so you can put lights inside it? We were going to do that at my daughters’ house and figuring out how to brace it correctly hurt my head way more than the math lol that’s my only guess!! Can’t wait to see what you come up with! hugs and Happy Valentine’s Day from Conway 🙂

Ugh this was the worst part of our upstairs renovation. We luckily have a table saw that can do miter cuts but I had to use reference boards to cut all of our corners correctly or I totally forgot which way the angles went!!
